My great grandfather was Carl Heinrich Ludwig Westerfeld, born 1873 in Westhofen (son of Diedrich Friedrich Westerfeld born 22nd November 1838 and Sophie Flunkert born 10th April 1858), who later lived in London England, returning to Germany during the Second World War. He is believed to have died somewhere near the Black Forest in 1942.

He married Marie Christianna Klipstein, but I no information about her, apart that she stayed in London and died at Wimbledon, London in 1946.

Can anyone help me trace Marie Klipstein's origin and her family. It would appear that there were a number of Klipstein's living near Aplerbeck.
